Phoenix Rising FC (formerly Arizona United) will open their United Soccer League (USL) season on March 25th with a home match against Eastern Conference side Toronto FC II.  The match will be played at the Pheonix Rising Soccer Complex, their new soccer-specific training complex and stadium based in Scottsdale.

Game 2 a week later takes Rising up to Sandy, Utah where they face fellow Western Conference team Real Monarchs whom they defeated in Peoria back in September by 3 goals to 2. The following Saturday, 8th April, LA Galaxy II is welcomed back to the desert.  Galaxy had a 100% record against Rising last season which was a reverse of the 2015 season where Rising won both games between the teams by 2 goals to 1.  Last year’s USL Cup finals runners-up Swope Park Rangers visit the Valley on the 23rd April.
